Blaze Pizza Hiring for All Positions At Job Fair
New fast-casual dining pizza franchise hosts job fair this week at new Oak Lawn location.

The Oak Lawn Jobs Program is hosting a job fair for a new artisanal pizza restaurant chain that is slated to open soon in Oak Lawn.
Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza is opening a new location at 6230 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn, next to Chipotle Mexican Grill. Already a hit in Southern California, with four locations in Illinois and lines out the door, Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza is a new fast-casual dining concept that serves custom-built artisanal pizzas at “freakishly fast speeds,” a company news release said.
The job fair takes place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, July 8 and July 9. Interested applicants must be available to work various shifts and be available weekdays and weekends.

Apply in person at the new Oak Lawn location at 6230 W. 95th Street or send your resume and preferred location to info@blazepizza.com. Resumes will be orwarded to the appropriate individual for consideration. Blaze is hiring for all positions, including managers, shift leaders and pizza crafters.
Blaza Pizza claims to use an interactive service format similar to Chipotle that allows guests to customize their own pizza for about $7 each. The restaurant chain is noted for making its own dough from scratch using a recipe that requires a 24-hour fermentation period for a light, crisp crust.

Guests can watch their own “perfectly proofed” dough ball be pressed into a generously sized crust. They can travel down the service line to “co-create” their own signature pizza or design one of their own, choosing from over 40 artisanal toppings.
Pizzas are fast-fired in a three-ton oven and ready in 120 seconds. The menu also features salads, fresh lemonades, craft beer and wine, and house-made S’more Pies. Blaze also offers gluten-free dough and vegan cheese for guests with special dietary needs.
According to Business Insider, the pizza franchise has attracted such celebrities as Maria Shriver and LeBron James as investors, with ambitions to be as big as Starbucks one day.
Blaze Pizza is being developed in the Chicago area by Levy Family Partners, LLC under a 15-franchise agreement. The Chicago-based franchise group plans to open more restaurants in the region and other U.S. cities over the next 24 months.
