Boy, 16, on Life Support after Road Rage Incident

Police say the boy allegedly jumped on the hood of a car while holding a baseball bat.

A 16-year-old boy is in critical condition after what police are calling a road rage incident in Chicago Ridge Friday night.

A confrontation took place at 106th and Ridgeland in the parking lot of a liquor store, and one vehicle fled with the other in close pursuit to a BP gas station nearby. Police say the teen got out of his car and allegedly jumped on the hood of the other car, wielding a baseball bat. The car then drove off with the teen still on the hood.

The boy fell off and suffered severe head injuries. He remains on life support, ABC7 reports.
