Bremen District 228 has released its Annual Success Report. This report is a compilation of the awards, accolades and honors received by students at Bremen, Tinley Park, Hillcrest and Oak Forest High Schools. D228 has also included snippets of the caring and supportive staff that are mentors to its students as well as information about the school community that cares and encourages them.
A very exciting addition to this report is the news that Bremen District 228 has secured $50 million dollars in Quality School Construction Bonds (QSCB)!! The District was one of only 29 school districts in the State of Illinois to qualify for the bond and one of only three districts to receive the maximum amount of $50 million. With the approval of this bond, we will be able to issue low- to zero-interest bonds and provide an ambitious seven-year capital improvement plan designed to improve and enhance the lives of our more than 5,000 students who attend D228 schools.
