Bremen HS Alumni Raise Funds

BHS Softball alumni returned to help raise funds for the softball program

Bremen Softball alumni met and played a game “for old time’s sake!” Two alumni, Alyssa Conones (Fitzgerald) and Lisa Rybak requested alumni come back to play a game and with the help of Bremen Softball Coach, English Teacher and Alumni Renee Yunker (Rybak, ‘04). They were able to organize a game through social media and word of mouth. Nine alumni returned to play a game of slow pitch and help raise funds to support the Bremen Softball program. The game drew a great crowd. Midlothian Mayor Sharon Rybak served as the team mom and brought donuts and coffee. “It was such a great time!” said Yunker, “We covered classes from 1984 to 2016; we're planning on this becoming an annual event that gets bigger every year!”
