Bremen HS AP Computer Science Students are Finalists in IIT BUILD IT Challenge

The BUILD IT 2017 Raspberry Pi Challenge is sponsored by the Illinois Institute of Technology

Bremen High School is proud to announce several AP Computer Science students were finalists in the 2017 Illinois Institute of Technology BUILD IT 2017 Competition! Seniors Richard Rhein, Tyler Gramm and Christian Mercado, through the coordination of Advanced Placement Computer Science Teacher Mr. Kevin Walsh and Career Readiness Coordinator Mrs. Renee Mack, entered the Illinois Institute of Technology BUILD IT 2017 Raspberry Pi Student Challenge. Their project and accompanying video has qualified them as finalists in the BUILD IT competition. The Illinois IT Learning Exchange invited high school student teams to demonstrate an application they have built, using Raspberry Pi and peripherals. Each student team must demonstrate the end result of their created technology, create a YouTube video that describes their project, and respond to judges’ questions. The Bremen team will showcase their completed application titled "PaPiRus" on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
