Bremen HS Business Tech Students Visit the Art Institute of Chicago

Students engaged in an interactive career exploration seminar

Several of Bremen High School’s business technology classes had the pleasure to engage in an interactive career exploration seminar from The Art Institute of Chicago by Ms. Amber Walker. The Art Institute is a system of over 50 schools located throughout the United States. The students were pleased to discover the multitude of options for degrees in technology including (but not limited to) advertising, graphic design, web design, industrial design, animation, game programming, and photography. The presentation elaborated on the importance of conducting a thorough college search, scholarship searches, creative careers and job opportunities. Bremen students were excited and fascinated to learn of the multitude of opportunities that are available through the Art Institute. Students followed up the presentation with a discussion in class the next day about creative careers and different path ways to get there.
