Bremen HS Cheerleaders and EXCEL Students Team Up to Cheer on the Braves
Cheers and the school fight song were performed
The Bremen High School Cheerleaders invited the District 228 vocational skills program (EXCEL) students to cheer on the football team as they took on Lemont High School. The EXCEL students participated in stretching, jumps, sideline cheers, and even performed the school fight song on the field to kick off the game!
“The EXCEL students did an amazing job cheering with the Varsity Cheerleaders. The EXCEL students had an experience that they will never forget! They are already talking about cheering during basketball season,” said EXCEL teacher Rachel Wnenk.
The cheerleaders were just as excited about this opportunity as the students in the EXCEL program! “We absolutely love the Excel program! They worked incredibly hard and brought so much joy to our program. We cannot wait to cheer with them again during basketball season!” said Varsity Cheer Coach Mrs. Melissa Matlon.
