Bremen High School is proud to announce that the 2016 Chess team will be advancing to the IHSA State Tournament! The Braves wrapped up their regular season with wins by Alyssa Ceballos, Amner Diaz, Tyler DeYoung, Max Behymer and Alan Mendez. The team finished third overall in Conference with a record of 8-4. Christian Mercado, Jerome Baker, and Tyler DeYoung all received medals for ranking second place overall at their respective boards. Finishing ahead of all other District 228 schools, Bremen will represent the entire district at the State tournament in Peoria, IL on February 12 & 13.
