Bremen HS Child Care II Students Become CPR Certified

Students become certified in CPR, AEDs and EpiPens

Recently, 15 Bremen High School Child Care II students and two Bremen High School alumni became certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid. The certification was provided through the American Heart Association. Family and consumer science teachers Ms. Kim Flannigan and Ms. Rachel Brinkman utilized their AHA trainer certifications and trained the students and alumni. The trainings included hands-on practice on adult, child, and infant CPR manikins, demonstration automated external defibrillators (AED) machines, and demonstration EpiPens.

For more information about becoming certified in CPR/first aid through the American Heart Association, contact teacher Ms. Kim Flannigan at KFlannigan@bhsd228.com.
