Bremen HS Cross Country Teams Compete in Nike Challenge

On October 12, the Girls’ and Boys’ Bremen Braves Cross Country Teams participated in the Northside/Southside Nike Challenge at the Chicago Marathon. The Northside/Southside Challenge gave high school athletes the unique opportunity to compete in an invitational meet on the marathon course while the marathon race was in progress. Bremen athletes (as well as all participants) were given uniforms donated by Nike and competed on behalf of the Braves, but also as part of the larger Southside team. The race started at mile 24 of the Chicago Marathon and ended at the official Chicago Marathon finish line.
