Bremen HS DECA Students Headed to State Competition

Four DECA students will compete at the Illinois DECA Career Development Conference in Rosemont

The Bremen High School DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) students competed in DECA’s Chicago South Region Annual Contest at Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, Illinois, on January 19. DECA is an association of marketing students that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. Students participated in career-oriented role plays and economics tests against twelve south and southwest suburban high schools. Students who earned a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Place qualified to compete next month at the Illinois DECA Career Development Conference in Rosemont, Illinois. This year’s state-bound members include: freshmen Daniel Sullivan: Principals of Marketing, juniors Krystal Cook: Fashion Marketing, Jessica Garcia: Human Resource Management and Fashion Marketing, and LaNesha Rich: Fashion Marketing.
