Bremen HS Earns Gold Star Status from Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
FCCLA led the fundraising efforts
Bremen High School was presented with a Gold Star School Achievement Banner from the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Bremen reached Gold Star status after raising $6,500 for juvenile diabetes in the months of March and April. The fundraising efforts were led by Bremen’s Family Career & Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) students and teacher Mrs. Tanya Mack. The group raised the money through bake sales, t-shirt sales, and a skate-a-thon. Bremen High School would like to congratulate the FCCLA program for organizing such a successful fundraising event, as well as the entire Bremen High School community for their enormous hearts.
