Bremen HS Gears Up for their Holiday Food Drive
Food drive getting a big boost from the new Berkot's Super Foods in Midlothian

Bremen High School is gearing up for their annual food drive. The BHS food drive is a major contributor every year to the local food pantries at St. Stephen’s and St. Christopher Churches. During the first week of December, BHS students will place paper grocery bags on residents’ porches in parts of Midlothian, Posen and Markham. Contributions can be placed in the bag for pickup on December 8. The program is getting a huge boost this year from the new Berkot’s Super Foods in Midlothian, which will open for business the first week of December. Berkot’s Super Foods is located on 147th and Knox, just east of Cicero Avenue. The BHS family would like to thank Mr. Magana and Berkot’s for their support and contributions!
Bremen High School students present a large thank you sign to the manager of Berkot’s Super Foods, which is slated to open the first week of December. (L to R): Tommy Parchem, Student Council Treasurer; Lilydian Tolbert, Student Council Secretary; Brian Luong, Student Council Vice President; Jamie Bazan, Student Council President and National Honors Society (NHS) Treasurer; Mr. Arturo Magana, manager of Berkot’s Super Foods; Cricelia Flores, NHS Secretary; Eddie Gross, NHS President; Brittany Condon, NHS Historian; and Ben McClerklin, NHS Vice President.
