Bremen HS Hosts 'El Rumbo a la Universidad'

The informal gathering was for parents to discuss their student's journey to college

Bremen High School hosted its first ever parent night entitled, "El Rumbo a la Universidad" - The Path to College! The evening was organized by Spanish teacher Mrs. Gina Arguelles, Junior Denise Lopez, and special guest speaker, Mr. Eric Ruiz from the University of St. Francis. The night was an informal gathering for parents to come to talk about their fears, questions, hopes, and wishes for their son/daughter's journey to college! Bremen High School parent Ms. Sonia Quirarte said, "I attended the meeting to get informed about when to start and what to do to help my daughter go to college; to help in the process of her education. I want to be a part of her journey to help her prepare for her career." Bremen High School parent Marisol Lopez said, "It was a helpful meeting on financial information. Making it helpful to find a way for the students to continue to follow their dreams!" Bremen Junior Denise Lopez said, "This was an amazing experience! I hope to see many more people here next time. Education is very important and help is always available."
