Bremen HS Hosts Tribeca Flashpoint College
Students explored careers in digital marketing, animation, and graphic design
Bremen High School’s Business Technology Department was proud to host Mr. Kyle Ryan from Tribeca Flashpoint College in Chicago recently. Students had the pleasure of engaging in an interactive career exploration seminar with Mr. Ryan as he introduced them to Tribeca’s digital marketing, animation and graphic design majors. Mr. Ryan showed the Bremen students student work from Tribeca as well as explained the importance of internships, portfolios and exposure to your field during college. Ryan walked the students through a graphic design and marketing project that showed the different steps designers and marketers would take throughout the logo creation process. The students were pleased to discover the multitude of options for degrees in the areas of graphic design, marketing, animation and audio engineering. Mr. Ryan did a great job engaging the students and stressing the importance of finding a school that has career placement support. Students followed up the presentation with a discussion in class the next day about technology based careers and different path ways to get there.
