Bremen HS Kicks Off Annual Fundraiser for JDRF

All proceeds will be donated to Lurie Children's Hospital in memory of Paola Zambrano

Bremen High School’s Family Career & Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) students have kicked off their fundraising efforts by planning their Annual Skate for a Cure! Last year BHS was awarded a Gold Star School Achievement Banner from the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Bremen reached Gold Star status after raising $6,500 for juvenile diabetes in the months of March and April 2016. This year the students will continue their efforts through bake sales, t-shirt sales, and a skate-a-thon. The 2017 FCCLA group consists of 59 students. The skating event will take place on Thursday, February 2 at Tinley Park Roller Rink. All proceeds will be donated to Lurie Children’s Hospital in memory of the late Paola Zambrano who would have graduated this year with the Class of 2017.
