Bremen HS Kicks Off National Library Card Month

Students are encouraged to take advantage of all the resources local libraries provide

To celebrate National Library Card Sign-up Month, Bremen High School’s IMC treated students that showed their library cards to free hot beverage at the BHS Coffee House! Spanish Teacher Mrs. Gina Arguelles regularly encourages her students to apply for library cards and to to take advantage of the free resources local libraries provide. Mrs. Arguelles has made connections with both the IMC and the public libraries that serve BHS students. She has provided directions in both English and Spanish for obtaining a library card. The BHS IMC staff would like to recognize Mrs. Arguelles as "una amiga de la biblioteca," or “a friend of the library!" This is just the beginning of the month long celebration that BHS IMC staff are hosting. For more information on National Library Card Sign-up Month contact BHS Media Specialist Mrs. Kelly Sala at Ksala@bhsd228.com.
