Bremen HS Media Specialists Become Google Certified Educators

Bremen High School is proud to announce that both BHS Media Specialists, Mary Rose Bernas & Kelly Sala, have completed the required courses and exams to become level one and two Google Certified Educators! Both Media Specialists attended a required workshop, completed online tutorials, and spent several hours working on the Google Suite over their summer “break.” “We decided to get the certification so we are more equipped to deal with issues students and teachers experience when using Google Apps for Education,” said Bernas. “It is awesome to have two educators in the building that have become Google Certified. Both students and staff are able to turn to our media specialists with technology questions and to learn new skills. Ms. Bernas and Ms. Sala’s dedication to learning technology is key in assisting our students and staff; I am very proud of them both!” said Principal Dr. Dave Kibelkis.
