Bremen HS Seniors Lead a Secret Santa Drive for Local Children

Seniors Valeria Martinez and Michael Sanchez organized the drive

It is no surprise that Bremen High School is full of generous and thoughtful students! This holiday season two seniors took it upon themselves to continue a tradition that retired history teacher Mr. Brad Johnson had done in past years. Seniors Valeria Martinez and Michael Sanchez organized the list of tasks, dates, an action plan and a group of peers to help them follow through. Their goal was to collect enough hats and gloves along with small gifts to give to a local elementary class that they connected with last year. Valeria and Michael, along with a group of generous peers collected, purchased, wrapped and delivered enough to give all forty one students a hat, pair of gloves and a toy. “There are countless instances where I am exceptionally proud of our students, and this is no exception! This project was placed solely in their hands and they got it done,” said English teacher and National Honor Society sponsor Mrs. Sarah Bogard.
