Bremen HS Sophomore Crowned Miss Illinois High School America
Karson Edwards-Fournier will compete for Miss High School America in San Antonio, Texas

Bremen High School is proud to announce Miss Illinois High School America is a Bremen Brave! Sophomore Karson Edwards-Fournier was crowned Miss Illinois High School America 2016 in St. Louis, Missouri. Karson will proudly represent the State of Illinois and Bremen High School throughout the year. In July 2016 she will compete for Miss High School America in San Antonio, Texas. “I’m really excited about this opportunity. I can’t wait to meet the other girls throughout the U.S. and to get involved in my community,” said Karson. Karson will be starting her community work with the Girl Scouts of America.
Karson not only excels in her pageants, but also in the classroom; Karson is on the High Honor Roll and is a great role model for her peers. When asked to describe Karson, one of her teachers, Mr. Matt Meany, had this to say, “Karson is an excellent student and great young lady who always puts forth her greatest effort.”
The Miss High School America Organization’s national platform this year is “B.R.A.V.E.”, which stands for Building Respect and Values for Everyone. This campaign is focused on anti-bullying and is intended to create awareness of bullying in schools and communities.

“It’s fitting that Karson’s campaign will be ‘BRAVE’ this year, we are proud to have Karson as a Bremen Brave and look forward to supporting her and following her success throughout the year,” said Mrs. Amber Guzak, Karson’s freshmen technology teacher. Bremen High School is proud to call Karson a Brave and wishes her well this upcoming year.
