Bremen HS Sports & Entertainment Marketing Students Take First Place at Competition
The team took first place in both Promotional Marketing and Billboard competitions

Bremen High School’s Sports and Entertainment Marketing Students competed last Friday, April 21, at Oak Forest High School against two other District 228 schools, Oak Forest and Hillcrest High Schools. Throughout the morning students pitched their marketing plans to professional judges who graciously volunteered their time to the competition. Carol Brooks, Executive Director of Career Development Systems, Nick Kapetan, New Business Development Executive for the Chicago White Sox, Adam Chlipapa, OFHS Marketing Student, and Cheryl Harris-Sumida, OFHS teacher. Bremen’s Sports Marketing team was made up of sophomore Jeremy Berry, junior Tyra Ford, and senior Shane London. They chose to promote DePaul University’s Men’s Basketball team utilizing a Brady Bunch themed campaign. The marketing plan was well thought out and well executed and it showed; they took 1st Place in both Promotional Marketing Plan and the Billboard competitions!
