Bremen HS Students Dive Into Gas Laws

Chemistry students took to the water at Scuba Emporium to learn about gas laws

Bremen High School Chemistry students recently took to the water for a “dive into gas laws” at Scuba Emporium in Orland Park. The students had an extraordinary time as they reviewed and learned more about Gas laws and properties with Professional divers. Students were trained on scuba equipment and how to use it. According to Rob, one of the professional divers and a Chicago Fireman who works with the students annually at Scuba Emporium, “Learning and understanding gas laws can be a matter of life and death for an individual, and the scuba experience is something everyone needs to experience.” “The students were excited and really felt that they were truly learning in the classroom, I could see this with their responsiveness during the discussion with Rob. I always enjoy taking the students and seeing their reactions upon being taken out of their comfort zone and experiencing something different,” said Chemistry Teacher Coradina Tate-Jackson.
