Bremen HS Students Participate in Criminal Justice Presentation

Midlothian police officer leads discussion on law enforcement

Bremen High School’s Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) students had a special treat this week. Police Officer Ryan Gulli of Midlothian came to their work program class to lead a discussion and define the differences of civil law verses criminal law. The students were engaged and interested in the fact that he once was a Bremen student and was able to go on and become a police officer right here in his home town. The students were able to participate in a question and answer segment where they were able to ask him about his career and what the future looks like for those that want to go into the criminal justice field.

“I’m so glad Officer Gulli took time out of his day to come speak to the FCCLA students of Bremen High School. The BHS student body sees Officer Gulli in the building throughout the week, and for them to be able to connect with him is wonderful. The students were highly engaged and excited about the presentation,” said FCCLA teacher Mrs. Tanya Mack.
