Bremen HS Students Volunteer at Feed My Starving Children

The group packed 45,792 meals, which will feed 125 children for an entire year

A group of 35 students and three teachers from Bremen High School Student Council and Christian Club gave up a day of their spring break to travel to the "Feed My Starving Children" packing location in Aurora, to hand-pack meals for undernourished children around the world. The group packed 45,792 meals, which will feed 125 children for an entire year! "It was truly a joy and honor to be able to give our time to the Feed My Starving Children organization," said Amanda Chelepis, Student Council sponsor and co-Christian Club sponsor. "We all had so much fun, and the students are very excited to go back!"

Founded in 1987, Feed My Starving Children is a Christian non-profit that provides nutritionally complete meals specifically formulated for malnourished children in countries such as Guatemala, Colombia, Haiti, Ghana, and more. Since starting, FMSC has provided more than 2 billion healthy and fulfilling meals to hungry kids around the world!
