Bremen HS Teams Up with SSC to Offer College Credit
High school freshmen have opportunity to earn college credit

While many freshmen aren’t yet worried about earning college credit, the freshmen students at Bremen High School have had the opportunity to earn a college credit through their Microcomputer Interdisciplinary Applications (MIA) courses. Business teachers Ms. Amber Guzak, Mr. Virgil Harris, Ms. Janet Kane, Mr. Greg Slade, and Mr. Todd Strein worked alongside Bremen High School District 228’s Ms. Renee Mack, Director of Career & Technology, and South Suburban College to make this possible.
“I love talking about the ‘bigger picture’ with my students. We have so many great resources within our building and within the community for the students. Most of the students were excited about the opportunity to earn a college credit,” said Business Teacher Ms. Amber Guzak.
The MIA class is one of several classes where Bremen students have the opportunity for dual credit through South Suburban College. For more information contact Bremen High School’s Director of Career & Technology Renee Mack at RMack@bhsd228.com.
