Bremen HS Welcomes New Girls' Basketball Coach

Coach Ramon Daguinsin is familiar with Southside basketball, but will be putting on a different jersey this season; he will be a Bremen Brave! The Bremen Braves Girls’ Basketball program will be under Daguinsin’s leadership and they couldn’t be more proud. “We are excited to have Coach Daguinsin join our coaching staff. He is a proven winner who is committed to building a first class girls’ basketball program at Bremen High School,” said Bremen Athletic Director Mr. Eric Washington.

Daguinsin comes to Bremen with plenty of experience under his belt, including over 160 wins as a varsity coach. He has coached conference champions, regional champions, sectional champions and several finalists in the State competition.

“When Principal Dr. Dave Kibelkis and Mr. Washington interviewed me, I felt the passion they have regarding the program which made me want the job even more. I am excited and thankful for this new chapter,” said Bremen Varsity Basketball Coach Ramon Daguinsin.

The Braves start their season on November 21 against Coal City at the Lady Cat Fall Classic at Beecher High School.
