Bremen HS's Bass Advances at IHSA Speech Regionals

The Bremen High School Speech Team is proud to announce that senior member Dakari Bass, earned his way into the final round of the IHSA Speech Regional Competition in Impromptu Speaking! In Impromptu Speaking, students are asked to choose between three phrases or proverbs and are then given two minutes to craft a six minute speech that utilizes pop culture, literary and movie references to explain the true meaning of the phrase as it relates to their lives. It was a great accomplishment to cap off an exciting season for not only Dakari, but the entire Speech Team. “We are very proud of him!” exclaimed BHS Speech Coach Mrs. Andrew Rybarczyk.
