Bremen HS's Covarrubias Accepted to Stanford University
Javier will major in international business

Congratulations to Bremen High School Senior Javier Covarrubias. Javier has been accepted to Stanford University where he plans to study International Business!
At Bremen High School, Javier is ranked second in his class. He is an Advanced Placement Scholar, President of the Business Professionals of America, President of the National Honor Society, Vice-President of the Key Club, and Member Elect of the Pride Project (a group of students that assists 8th graders in transitioning to high school). Javier is also Vice-President of the Science Club and a member of Mathletes, Scholastic Bowl and Code of the Braves, as well as a contributor to Echo, the school newspaper.
Ms. Anna Rauch, Javier’s high school counselor, said “Javier is a leader and leads by example. He is actively involved in his school and community. He continuously challenges himself and has been on the Honor Roll every quarter of his high school career thus far, earning the distinction of ‘High Honors.’ Lastly, Javier also knows how to balance both work and school.” Principal Kibelkis added, “Javier is a positive, vocal leader at Bremen High School. He is active in school leadership and looks to improve the activities he is involved with. He has qualified for State in BPA and will participate in the interviewing segment. It is great to see him get accepted to Stanford University as that is his dream school.”
