Bremen HS's English Classes Make Mind Mapping Fun

Mind Mapping used to visually organize information

Bremen High School’s English teacher Ms. Renee Rybak enjoys engaging her students by using interactive Mind Mapping brain storming sessions. Ms. Rybak had her students create mind maps to examine major writers of the American Revolution. A mind map is a diagram used to visually organize information. The major ideas of the era were connected directly to the central idea of the writers and then ideas were branched out from those. The students were actively communicating and brainstorming ideas and data. They had a vast understanding of the lesson and actively participated in the note planning session.

Junior, Jose Reyes, enjoyed playing emcee of the event in his American Literature class.
