Bremen HS's Pantoja Wins 'Best of School' at S.S.C. Visual Arts Show
Her piece was chosen not only because of skill, but because of its unique perspective
Bremen High School is proud to announce senior artist Miriam Pantoja won "Best of School" for Bremen High School at the S.S.C. Visual Arts Festival hosted at Trinity Christian College in Palos Park, IL. The judge stated that her mixed-media piece was selected not only because of skill but because they thought that it was a very unique perspective on how we, as a society, view life through the lens of our phone's camera. "Miriam is one of six seniors that are submitting their artwork to the A.P. Studio Art College Board in May. Her piece "California Sunset" is one of her twelve themed pieces within her concentration,” said A.P. Studio Art Teacher Mrs. Jennifer Reid. Congratulations to Miriam and Mrs. Reid for their hard work and great accomplishment and good luck to the six seniors submitting work to the A.P. College Board.
