Chicago area cab drivers at O’Hare and Midway airpots are refusing to pick up customers Wednesday, in protest of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s 2016 budget that allows ride-sharing services to service the airports.

Drivers have stepped out of their rides, and more than 400 parked cabs have traffic at a halt near cab stands at O’Hare, with another 200 at Midway, ABC7 reports.

Cabbies are peeved that Emanuel’s proposed budget allows services such as Uber and Lyft to provide service to airport patrons, despite those drivers not having to adhere to the same regulations as taxi drivers.
