Action Sertoma NFP has been serving local communities since 1967 in the Chicagoland area. We are the biggest club in the State of Illinois. We are one of the three clubs who founded the Sertoma Centre, now called Sertoma Star Services, and the Sertoma Speech and Hearing Center in 1971. These facilities provide state-of-the-art services and programs to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and hearing impaired. Additionally, Sertoma Star Community Mental Health and Counseling has been a leader in supporting those living with mental illness. All these services provide choices and opportunities for persons with disabilities and their families through a culture of innovation and caring to enrich their lives and maximize their independence.
