Midlothian (April 5, 2015) - Carl Ivan announces his candidacy for Village of Midlothian Trustee.

Carl a resident of Midlothian since 1968, a graduate of Spaulding, Bremen High School and Moraine Valley Community College. He is also an Eagle Scout from Troop 315 out of Raday Lodge. His business experience in the Computer Industry, gave him opportunities to design systems that break down complex processes that assisted users in their day to day work life.

He loves working with people and listening to their ideas and has volunteered to be the Chairman of the Beautification Committee and Director of Election Judges for Bremen Township. Carl has develop a working relationship with the Cook County Clerk’s outreach programs as a Deputy Registrar and as an Election Judge and Equipment Manager for Early and Election Day Voting.

One of Carl’s passions is to educate people, so he is working with the Midlothian Public Library to develop and teach patrons about technology and gardening and how they can interact with it.

Carl’s 5 Step Plan to restore “Trust” back into our Village government consists of:

  • Understanding - define and understand our problems
  • Transparency - promote transparency of every governmental action
  • Common Sense - seek out common sense solutions and implement them
  • Participation - provide oversight and participation in our government
  • Cost - establish a “what can we afford’” government
