OAK FOREST, IL — Hundreds got on their green garb to line Central Avenue for the Oak Forest Fleadh parade Saturday.

Organized by the Oak Forest-Crestwood Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the City of Oak Forest, the Oak Forest Fleadh—a Gaelic term for a festival of Irish music, dancing, and culture—celebrated its 17th year.

The parade rolled from 151st to 155th and Central Avenue, with Grand Marshal St. Damian School leading the way for the 40 units.

A Fleadh 5K also drew about 500 registered participants, with 420 finishing.
