A huge THANK YOU to everyone who worked hard on their yards this year. Your hard work and dedication to improve our community does not go unnoticed. With more than 400 entries, the judges were extra busy this year looking at every single one.

About the Awards Process
All residents or business owners were eligible to nominate themselves or another home, business or organization.
A nominee must earn at least 24 points to receive a Forest In Bloom Award. When awarding points, judges considered the visual appeal of the front yard landscaping; the maintenance of lawn, bushes, shrubs, and flower beds; and the use of accessories (gazing balls, fountains, statues, etc.). Back yards were not considered as part of the award selection.
The selection committee is comprised of at least seven judges – all volunteers – one for each ward. In order to remain impartial, judges do not live in the wards they are critiquing. A new judging panel is chosen each year. Judging is subjective and what is liked by one, may not appeal to another.
