City Of Oak Forest: Yard Waste Pickup Ends November 30

Yard waste can be placed curbside on your scheduled garbage day through November 30. Yard waste includes grass clippings, leaves, branches, etc.  It does not include dirt or rock. Branches should be cut into 3- to 4-foot lengths and be no wider than 6 inches in diameter.  Place yard waste in brown paper yard waste bags, reasonable-sized bundles tied with twine or string, or a Homewood Disposal yard waste cart. If you do not have one, you can rent a 95-gallon wheeled yard waste cart from Homewood Disposal. Request a cart now.  "Yard waste only" stickers are only needed when a 35-gallon garbage cart is used for yard waste. Stickers are available at the City Clerk's Office at City Hall.
