COVID-19 testing in South Holland

South Suburban College COVID-19 Testing Site Provides Easy Access, Short Lines and Seven Days a Week Testing for All

SOUTH HOLLAND, IL– South Suburban College’s new COVID-19 testing drive-thru is up and running seven days a week. The National Guard is providing testing to anyone in the community who wishes to get tested – regardless of age, symptoms or a doctor’s recommendation. The site is open daily from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. and the testing tents are set up near the college’s Fitness Center.

SSC’s Main Campus was chosen for COVID-19 testing by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) for its ease of access, space and convenience. Testing began on June 10th and will be available for a limited time at the new site located at 15800 S. State Street, South Holland, Illinois. The drive-thru route will be limited to south side of campus near the athletic fields. Employees, students and visitors will access the Main Campus through 158th Street, and north lots and entrances.

COVID-19 symptoms include but are not limited to fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, and new loss of taste or smell.
