D228 Business Teachers Get Tips from Google Corporation
They even met the individual that created G-Mail

District 228 business teachers recently had the opportunity to visit Google Corporation in Chicago. The teachers met top Googlers and discussed how to improve classes using some of Google's products - especially for Marketing and Entrepreneurship classes. Google also provided links and advice that was very informative for the teachers. They even met the individual that created G-Mail, one of Googles biggest creations.
The Googlers told them that teamwork and the ability to work together is most important. The Googles motto states: "At Google, we don’t just accept difference - we celebrate it, we support it and we thrive on it for the benefit of our employees, our products and our community." The teachers said it was obvious that Google Corporation is a great place to work. It provides employees with games, lounge chairs and special offices, as well as gourmet meals for breakfast and lunch.
District 228 teachers in attendance were: From Bremen High School - Mr. Harris, Mrs. Guzak, Mr. Slade, and Mr. Strein; from Tinley Park High School - Ms. Munoz and Mr. Richter; from Hillcrest High School - Mr. Braden, Ms. Jackson, and Ms. Jett; and from Oak Forest High School - Ms. Braden and Ms. McSweeney.
