D228 Communication Arts and Technology Students Bring Home Over 10 Awards at Annual Video Competition
The 8th Annual Video Competition was held at South Suburban College

Bremen High School District 228’s Communication Arts & Technology students recently competed in the 8th Annual Video Competition at South Suburban College and came home with plenty of hardware! Communications Arts & Technology is a district-wide course that includes students from all four district schools (Bremen, Tinley Park, Hillcrest and Oak Forest High Schools). D228 students’ hard work paid off; Mr. Michael Lynch and his students brought back 11 awards including the Regional Award of Distinction. The Regional Award of Distinction was awarded to the students from Hillcrest High School and Mr. Lynch. The following are the awards that students received: Commercial: 1st Place Moises Montano, James Beaver & Doug Bulow (Bremen), Commercial 3rd Place Efua Richardson & Timothy Rhodes (Bremen), Public Service Announcement: 1st Place Thomas Parchem (Bremen), Music Video: 1st Place Nylle Grahm (Hillcrest), News Program: 2nd Place Ken Potocki (Tinley Park), 3rd Place Christian Hammond & Nylle Grahm (Hillcrest), Short Subject: 1st Place Thomas Parchem & Michelle Rodriguez (Bremen), 2nd Place Michelle Rodriguez, Jose Ambrosio, & Thomas Parchem (Bremen), 3rd Place Justin Barksdale, Nylle Graham, & Christina Hammond (Hillcrest), 3rd Place Michelle Rodriguez (Bremen).
