D228 Girls' Water Polo Team Crowned Champs!

The girls defeated three other teams to win tournament

Congratulations to the Bremen High School District 228 Girls’ Water Polo Team for being crowned champions at the Bremen High School Tournament last weekend! The girls defeated Stagg High School 13-5, Morton High School 7-6, and Marian Catholic High School 14-7 for the championship. The varsity team was led by Seniors Adrianna Muniz and Hannah Alvarez from Oak Forest, Freshmen Jillian Schultz from Tinley Park, and Captains Elizabeth Minnich (Oak Forest) and Leah Wood (Tinley Park). “The girls have been working really hard, their efforts are starting to pay off! I’m extremely proud of them!” said head coach Todd Strein.
