D228 Girls' Water Polo Team Wins Big at Fremd Tournament
The team is currently ranked 14th in the State of Illinois

Congratulations to the Bremen High School District 228 Girls’ Water Polo Team the Red Jaguars, for winning the William Fremd High School tournament! The team defeated Loyola Academy (8-6), Lincoln Way Central High School (11-3), and Fremd High School (17-3). The team was lead by Andie Stronach (Tinley Park HS) with 18 saves in the goal, Jill Schultz (Tinley Park HS) totaled 12 goals throughout the weekend, Brittany Lira (Bremen HS) and Gretchen Behrens (Oak Forest HS) both had 5 goals each, Ashley Siedchlag (Oak Forest HS) and Elizabeth Minnich (Oak Forest HS) each scores 4 goals as well as Leah Wood (Tinley Park HS), Faith Alfrejd (Bremen HS), Rachel Smith (Bremen HS), Sam Toland (Oak Forest HS), and Kelly Vidovic (Oak Forest HS) all scoring goals as well! BHSD 228 Varsity Girls’ Water Polo is now 4-1 for the season and currently ranked 14th in the State of Illinois by illpolo.com!
