D228 Schools Host Senior Citizen Luncheon

Special guests from D228 communities feasted on turkey with all of the trimmings and baked goodies.

District 228 schools hosted the Annual Senior Citizen Luncheon on Wednesday, November 29. Special guests from D228 communities feasted on turkey with all of the trimmings and baked goodies.


Each school provided its own special program for guests. Depending on the school, guests enjoyed listening to choirs, bands, pre-school student singing, or comedy routines. Some also played bingo or participated in raffles.

It was truly a fun way to start the holiday season and say thank you to our special community members.
