According to OFHS DECA Sponsor Katie Gomez, students qualified for state in two areas of competition: Role plays and written events. In role play events, Yosra Abdulwahid placed 3rd in Personal Financial Literacy. Ethan Broniarczyk and Flynn Hartigan placed 2nd in Sports & Entertainment Marketing Team. Patrick Gaffney and Jason Pacella placed 3rd in Sports & Entertainment Marketing Team and Bashir Lawal placed 3rd in Food Marketing. Corina Marshall placed 1st in Principles of Business Management, and Brandi McManigal placed 1st in Principles of Marketing. Ian Ryan placed 3rd in Quick Serve Restaurant Management. In the written events, Matt St. Marie and Hannah Jaroszewski completed the Fashion Merchandising Promotion Plan. Reneen Allan and Yosra Abdulwahid completed the Community Service Project and Rachel Greenhill completed the Start-Up Business Plan. Bashir Lawal completed a Franchise Business Plan and Margi Patel completed a Franchise Business Plan. Flynn Hartigan and Brandi McManigal completed an Independent Business Plan. Ethan Broniarczyk, Peyton Nielsen and Ben Howe completed the Learn & Earn. Ian Ryan, Keith Pedersen and Brooke Armistead completed the Sports & Entertainment Promotion Plan.
