At its November 19, 2013 meeting, Bremen High School District 228 Board of Education recognized Oak Forest High School parent, Mr. Dave Kachlik, as the Board Recognition Award of the Month recipient.

Mr. Kachlik, his wife Pam, and their three children (Ashley, Matthew and Courtney) are all graduates of Oak Forest High School.  Mr. Kachlik supports the school with his constant presence during the day and evening, making the school environment a safe place for students and staff.

“I love to put time and effort into supporting the students at Oak Forest High School, not to get something in return, but to give the students the opportunity to experience and enjoy their high school years just like my family and myself,” stated Kachlik.
