District 228 Board Holds Field House Groundbreaking Ceremony

This is an exciting time for our students and communities, as we continue to make our schools an even better place to learn and to thrive

Saturday, March 24 was an exciting time in District 228 as the Board of Education held a groundbreaking ceremony for the start of its Phase II construction including a new field house for each of its four high schools - Bremen, Tinley Park, Hillcrest and Oak Forest. Board President Debi Stearns welcomed guests and said, "This is an exciting time for our students and communities, as we continue to make our schools an even better place to learn and to thrive." Even though the weather was questionable the Board could not wait to celebrate this exciting time as construction is set to begin.
