District 228 Hosts First-Ever Cross-Curricular Production

Culinary and TV production students team up to create episode 1 of "Bake Off!"

On November 10th, students from Mr. Mike Lynch's district-wide Communication Arts & Technology Class (a class that focuses on TV production skills) teamed up with Mrs. Rachel Flood's Culinary Class from Bremen High School to create the district's first-ever cross-curricular production called, Bake Off!

While culinary students baked and decorated cupcakes, students in the Communication Arts & Technology Class filmed the process, edited, and produced the show.

District 228 Superintendent Brad Sikora, Bremen High School Athletic Director Eric Washington, and Bremen High School Assistant Principal of Teaching & Learning Jessica Rucinski served as guest judges.
