Eataly Italian Food Emporium Opens Monday
Check out some sneak peak photos of the 63,000-square-foot gourmet superstore and eateries. It opens to the public Monday at 4 p.m.

The Chicago food press has been breathless this week in reporting onΒ the about-to-open Eataly Chicago in River North.
Itβs essentially a department store of 10,000-plus Italian foods, drinks and cooking essentials, along with 23 different restaurants, Zagat reports. At 63,000 square feet, Eataly Chicago is larger than its New York City counterpart.
The two-story emporium at 43 E. Ohio is owned by Mario Batali andΒ Joe Bastianich andΒ opens to the public Monday at 4 p.m.Β
