Oak Forest High School Athletic Director Ron Towner announced recently that five varsity sports teams earned the IHSA Team Academic Achievement Award for the 2013 spring season. Each one of these teams achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a non-weighted 4.0 scale. The award winning teams are: Badminton Team (3.24), Baseball Team (3.02), Girls’ Soccer Team (3.23), Boys’ Tennis Team (3.01), and Boys’ Volleyball Team (3.23).
