Forest Ridge School District 142 Kindergarten Registration

Continuing Kindergarten Registration for 2019 - 2020, Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 4:00 - 6:00pm

Forest Ridge School District 142 will be holding another Kindergarten Registration on Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 4:00 - 6:00pm for children who are eligible to attend Kindergarten at Ridge Early Childhood Center in August, 2019.

Registration will take place at District Office located at 15000 Laramie Avenue, Oak Forest, IL.

Children registering for kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2019
(child’s date of birth must be on or before September 1, 2014)

Parents who cannot register their child during these hours on the scheduled date will be required to call 708-687-3334 to schedule an appointment at District Office with Mrs. Spagnola (District Registrar).

No walk-in registrations will be accepted after April 11, 2019.

Please bring the following documents required for registration:

1. Original, Certified Birth Certificate from the County – No copies

2. Current photo ID with name and district address of parent/guardian/custodian: (provide one)

  • Driver’s License; OR
  • State ID

3. Category I – (provide one of these documents) (All documents must be current)

  • Property Tax Bill – most recent (your name & district address must appear on the bill)
  • An Agreement of Sale
  • Mortgage Payment
  • Homeowners Insurance
  • Signed Lease with paid rent receipt

4. Category II – (provide three of these documents) (All documents must be current. Originals are required-we will make copies.)

  • Utility Bills (Gas, Electric, Water – all accepted)
  • Home/Apartment Insurance Paper
  • Phone Bill
  • Credit Card Bill
  • Cable Bill
  • Bank Statement
  • Automobile Registration

Finally, if you live with a district resident (you do not own a home or have a lease in your name), you and the district resident MUST come in together to register. The district resident must provide documentation from #2, 3 & 4 above. The parent/guardian must provide documentation from #2 & 4 above. Both parties must also complete affidavit forms.
