Four District 228 Students Receive Eleanor C. Ferraro Fine Arts Scholarship
The Ferraro family has sponsored scholarships for Bremen District 228 Fine Arts students for many years
Four students were named recipients of the Eleanor C. Ferraro Fine Arts Scholarship at the 43rd Annual Keith Anderson Fine Arts Festival on Thursday, March 16. Senior fine arts students that will major in fine arts in college submitted essays, letters of recommendation, and either artwork or YouTube videos of themselves performing to the scholarship fund board.
The scholarship board then reviewed the many applicants and chose four winners. They are: Art student Gabrielle Ciuteikis (Tinley Park HS) $1,500, Art student Ashley Moore (Bremen HS) $1,000, Drama & Music student Ronan Morrissey (Oak Forest HS) $1,000, and Music student Zach Rosenstiehl (Tinley Park HS) $1,000.
The Ferraro Family has sponsored scholarships for Bremen District 228 Fine Arts students for many years. Eleanor Ferraro was a D228 Board member for 13 years. Her daughters presented the scholarships.
